If you are experienced with Audio Hardware and Software you should check out this plugin Audio Movers. For a small monthly fee you can stream music directly from your DAW in AAC and PCM quality. Now we did some tests and in general it works great. You need to tweak your settings to find the best quality that works with your internet connection but it definitely provides the best audio stream from one point to another.

We also managed to have both way communication by using a sender and receiver on both sides but in order to do this you need to be very careful with routing and avoiding feedback.

It’s possible to send live input as well, although in this case we did experience some dropouts but remote recording should be possible as well provided you have a good connection.
